The PSX closed at 44,886 points, up 290 points for the day

PSX 3rd January 2022 Summary: The Pakistan Stock Exchange’s (PSX) KSE 100 index gained 260.82 points on Monday, a gain of 0.65%, and closed at 44,886.89 points, up from 44,596.07 points on the previous working day, confirming the bullish trend.

In comparison to the previous day’s trading of 317,646,369 shares and at a price of Rs6.517 billion vs Rs10.829 billion, a total of 195,167,173 shares were exchanged today. 

Stock market transactions totaled 375, with 217 companies reporting gains and 143 companies reporting losses, while the share price of 15 companies remained unchanged. 

There were 12,583,500 shares of Pak int. bulk, 11,087,500 shares of TPL Properties and 10,811,500 shares of Ghani Glo Holding traded at a volume of 12,583,500 at a price per share of Rs7.70.

The share price of Unilever Food rose to a high of Rs 267.00, closing at Rs 19267.00, while the share price of Colgate Plam rose to a high of Rs 122.99, finishing at Rs 2400.00.

Bata (Pak) XD saw the most drop of Rs161.15 finishing at Rs 2010.00, followed by Pak Tobacco, which saw a drop of Rs74.25 closing at Rs1123.34.
